1. empathogen- WILLOW

empathogen is set to release on May 3 with 12 songs total with a shift in sound from her previous rock album to a jazz influenced sound. The album has 2 feature tracks: “home” with Jon Batiste and “pain for fun” with St. Vincent. This album marks Willow’s first studio album in almost 2 years following the release of <COPINGMECHANISM>. Willow describes the new album as a new perspective with a lot of self-reflection.

2. Love Hate Music Box- Rainbow Kitten Surprise

May 10 marks the official release date of Love Hate Music Box. The album includes 1 feature track, “Overtime” featuring Kacey Musgraves, and 22 songs total. The three leading singles include “LOL,” “Overtime” featuring Kacey Musgraves, and “Superstar.” Love Hate Music Box is Rainbow Kitten Surprise studio album since How To: Friend, Love, Freefall’s release in 2018.

3. Clancy- Twenty One Pilots

Fans eagerly anticipate the release of Clancy on May 17, which features a total of 13 songs. With the release of two singles, "Overcompensate" and "Next Semester", anticipation is high for the remaining tracks. Eilish officially announced the album name and release date only a little over a month before its release on social media. Eilish’s previous album, Happier Than Ever, was released nearly 3 years ago in 2021. The album has 10 songs and no feature tracks.

6. Model- Wallows

May 24 marks the official release date for Wallows’ third studio album Model. The two leading singles, “Your Apartment” and “Calling After Me,” have Wallow’s distinctive vocals and guitar riffs. The third leading, “Bad Dream,” single was released earlier today. “Calling After Me” includes live tracked instruments with production layers added on top. This album succeeds Tell Me That It’s Over which was released in 2022.
