Starting in 2001 an American alternative rock band formed named The Killers. This band has slowly taken some time to form a solid hardworking band. Since their beginning The Killers have released seven studio albums and reached the top spot on the UK Albums Chart over the years. This band is considered one of the biggest bands of the 21st century and has sold more than 28 million records worldwide, including 10.8 million in the United States alone. In 2010, The Killers were invited to the White House South Lawn by President Barack Obama for the second annual “Salute to the Military” United Service Organization concert for the Independence Day celebrations. The Killers have been nominated for seven Grammy Awards and won a BRIT Award for Best International Band in 2007. So, not everything that happens in Vegas stays in Vegas and in this case the world has received many years of new music.
