Few bands in today’s folk-rock world connect as deeply as The Lumineers. Their music feels like sitting around a campfire, listening to stories that make you laugh, cry, and think about life a little differently. With their stripped-down melodies and heartfelt lyrics, The Lumineers have created something timeless, yet fresh enough to keep us coming back for more. The Lumineers formed in a small New Jersey town with Wesley Schultz and Jeremiah Fraites. The two started making music together as a way to cope with the loss of Fraites’ brother, who was also Schultz’s best friend. This shared grief turned into a bond that shaped their music—raw, emotional, and full of heart. Looking for a change, the duo moved to Denver, Colorado.
