Let’s Talk About Dayglow

Dayglow, also known as Sloan Struble, was created in 2017. Struble released his first studio album, Kindred, under the name Kindred on October 1, 2016. The only song still available on streaming platforms is “Spent my Life.” The rest of the album is only available on Spotify. Shortly after releasing Kindred, Struble started college at the University of Texas at Austin in 2018 where he studied advertising. He spent a lot of his time making beats and recording songs. Struble eventually talked with his parents about his music aspirations and his future. His parents were very supportive of his decision to pursue a music career.

Fuzzybrain (2019)

Struble released his first studio album, Fuzzybrain, under Very Nice Records under exclusive license to AWAL Recordings America, Inc. under name Dayglow in 2019. The album includes 10 tracks and is 37 minutes long. The song titles are: “False Direction,” “Can I Call You Tonight?” “Hot Rot,” “Run the World!!!” “Fair Game,” “Dear Friend,” “Fuzzybrain,” “Junior Varsity,” “Nicknames,” and “Listerine.”

Harmony House (2021)

Struble released his second studio album, Harmony House, under Very Nice Records under exclusive license to AWAL Recordings America, Inc. in 2021. The album includes 11 songs and is 34 minutes long. The song titles are: “Something,” “Medicine,” “Balcony,” “December,” “Close to You,” “Crying on the Dancefloor,” “Into Blue,” “Moving Out,” “Woah Man,” “Strangers,” and “Like Ivy.”

People in Motion (2022)

In 2022, Struble released his third studio album, People in Motion, under Very Nice Records under exclusive license to AWAL Recordings America, Inc. The album includes 10 tracks and is 36 minutes long. The song titles are: “Second Nature,” “Radio,” “Then It All Goes Away,” “Deep End,” “Stops Making Sense,” “How Do You Know?” “Someone Else,” “Like She Does,” “Turn Around,” and “Talking To Light.”

Dayglow (2024)

Struble is set to release his fourth studio album, Dayglow, under Very Nice Records under exclusive license to Mercury Records, a division of UMG Recordings, Inc. on September 13. The album includes 10 songs and is 37 minutes long. The song titles are: “Mindless Creatures,” “Every Little Thing I Say I Do,” “Cocoon,” “Old Friend, New Face,” “What People Really Do,” “Nothing Ever Does!!!” “This Feelings,” “Weatherman,” “Silver Lining,” and “Broken Bone.”

Dayglow currently has over 5 million monthly listeners on Spotify. The three most streamed songs include “Can I Call You Tonight?” (620,066546 streams), “Hot Rod” (271,372,943 streams), and “Close To You” (148,431,715 streams).

It’s clear that Dayglow’s music is more than just a collection of catchy tunes. From indie-pop roots to expansive soundscapes, Dayglow continues to push boundaries and redefine what alternative music can be.
