Let’s Talk About Dayglow

Dayglow, also known as Sloan Struble, was created in 2017. Struble released his first studio album, Kindred, under the name Kindred on October 1, 2016. The only song still available on streaming platforms is β€œSpent my Life.” The rest of the album is only available on Spotify. Shortly after releasing Kindred, Struble started college at the University of Texas at Austin in 2018 where he studied advertising. He spent a lot of his time making beats and recording songs. Struble eventually talked with his parents about his music aspirations and his future. His parents were very supportive of his decision to pursue a music career.

Fuzzybrain (2019)

Struble released his first studio album, Fuzzybrain, under Very Nice Records under exclusive license to AWAL Recordings America, Inc. under name Dayglow in 2019. The album includes 10 tracks and is 37 minutes long. The song titles are: β€œFalse Direction,” β€œCan I Call You Tonight?” β€œHot Rot,” β€œRun the World!!!” β€œFair Game,” β€œDear Friend,” β€œFuzzybrain,” β€œJunior Varsity,” β€œNicknames,” and β€œListerine.”

Harmony House (2021)

Struble released his second studio album, Harmony House, under Very Nice Records under exclusive license to AWAL Recordings America, Inc. in 2021. The album includes 11 songs and is 34 minutes long. The song titles are: β€œSomething,” β€œMedicine,” β€œBalcony,” β€œDecember,” β€œClose to You,” β€œCrying on the Dancefloor,” β€œInto Blue,” β€œMoving Out,” β€œWoah Man,” β€œStrangers,” and β€œLike Ivy.”

People in Motion (2022)

In 2022, Struble released his third studio album, People in Motion, under Very Nice Records under exclusive license to AWAL Recordings America, Inc. The album includes 10 tracks and is 36 minutes long. The song titles are: β€œSecond Nature,” β€œRadio,” β€œThen It All Goes Away,” β€œDeep End,” β€œStops Making Sense,” β€œHow Do You Know?” β€œSomeone Else,” β€œLike She Does,” β€œTurn Around,” and β€œTalking To Light.”

Struble is set to release his fourth studio album, Dayglow, under Very Nice Records under exclusive license to Mercury Records, a division of UMG Recordings, Inc. on September 13. The album includes 10 songs and is 37 minutes long. The song titles are: β€œMindless Creatures,” β€œEvery Little Thing I Say I Do,” β€œCocoon,” β€œOld Friend, New Face,” β€œWhat People Really Do,” β€œNothing Ever Does!!!” β€œThis Feelings,” β€œWeatherman,” β€œSilver Lining,” and β€œBroken Bone.”

Dayglow currently has over 5 million monthly listeners on Spotify. The three most streamed songs include β€œCan I Call You Tonight?” (620,066546 streams), β€œHot Rod” (271,372,943 streams), and β€œClose To You” (148,431,715 streams).

It’s clear that Dayglow’s music is more than just a collection of catchy tunes. From indie-pop roots to expansive soundscapes, Dayglow continues to push boundaries and redefine what alternative music can be.
