Background info on the band:

We formed back in 2018 and released our first official EP in 2020. What a year! Since then, we've been playing in and around our home in St. Louis, including getting out to Chicago, Kansas City, Columbia, MO and more. In the fall 2022, we released our first full-length, Days and Nights, and it's available online and on vinyl while supplies last.

 

Recently, we took a break to find a new drummer but we are back with a new bud, Mark Rowles, on the kit and our first shows as what we are jokingly calling 'Sisser 2.0' are coming up in April.

 

Where we're from:

Most of us spent the majority of our lives in and around the St. Louis area (St. Louis county, Southern Illinois). Our lead guitar player, Shauna, grew up in a military family and spent time seemingly everywhere including California and even Guam.

 

How we started:

Melissa (vox, rhythm guitar) knew Mark E. (old drummer) from old bands. Bruce (bass) knew Shauna (lead guitar, vox) from old bands dating back to their middle school days. Bruce and Mark E. knew each other, similarly, from bands and the local scene here. Eventually we all found each other. After a few years, Mark E. decided he wanted to move on and Bruce contacted another friend, Mark R. to jump in on drums and here we are.

Black coffee. We know it doesn't count but we are not functional enough for food most mornings. 😉
